Police confirmed today they have submitted a file to the Crown Prosecution Service in relation to their enquiries following the fatal road collision at Mersley Down on the Isle of Wight on Thursday, 2nd January 2014.
The 18-year-old male driver from Sandown has been reported for summons in relation to two counts of causing death by careless driving.
Tragically, 67 year old Barbara Ann Ford and 14 year old Kiri-Jade Hodgkinson both died from injuries sustained from the road traffic incident.
The driver is due to appear at Newport Magistrates Court on Friday, 13 June.
