The British Army is holding a Reserves exercise on the Isle of Wight in September. The exercise is key to shaping the ongoing Force Development of the unit.
Island-wide exercise
Various areas on the Island will be used for some of the exercise activity. To that end you are likely to see an increase in military personnel in these areas and military vehicle movement on the roads alongside an air presence, but every effort will be made to keep noise to a minimum and not to cause any unnecessary concern to members of the public.
Peak activity next week
The exercise will take place from 28 August to 13 September 2015.
The peak activity will be from 1 – 8 September 2015.
