If there is one thing that we reckon you should all do in the next five days, it’s make your way to Newport and get your tickets to watch The Be All and End All.
If the snow stopped you from going along to the screening and Q&A on Wednesday night (not surprising given the snowy conditions), you have five more chances over the coming week.
The feature length film made, by Island film maker Bruce Webb, has picked up a plenty of awards and nominations over the last few months.
First premiered at the Minghella Film Festival back in March, nationwide distribution was launched on Friday night at The Empire in Leicester Square.
The film tells the touching story of 15 year old Robbie who is diagnosed with a fatal heart condition. Robbie decides that he doesn’t want to die a virgin, so his best mate Ziggy sets about finding him a match, getting into trouble with the police and the girls at school whilst doing so.
The death of a teenager is a difficult subject, but one that is dealt with very sensitively with humour and compassion.
We have seen the film twice now and can’t recommend it enough. So why not treat yourselves and help show your support for an Island film maker?
