An indoor skate park is being built on the Riverway Industrial Estate, Newport.
Work began this week on The Drop and should be finished by the end of June.
The Drop is designed for use with skateboards, scooters, BMX’s and roller blades and will be open all year round.

The Drop will cost £4 for two hours use and include a cafe and toilets, great news for parents.
Wight Trash founder, John Cattle, is designing the street park and will be organising lessons for people who want to learn how to skateboard.
