Many people may have already entered or seen the results of the first two heats of the IOW Short Film Festival.
Deadlines for the third heat are almost upon us.
All budding film-makers have until the 1st February to get films in to the judges, with the screening of shortlisted films taking place on 19 February at Quay Arts in Newport.
If you’ve not heard about the Isle of Wight Short Film Festival before, it’s aim is to give a voice – and prizes – to the Island’s best filmmakers.
The categories are split into two with over 18 and under 18 prizes.

The Isle of Wight Film Network is an organisation for film professionals on the Island, and for bringing mainland filmmakers to work and shoot here.? It is free to join and is open to all film makers and trades related to the film industry.
