If you’re a regular visitor to Events on the Wight you would have already seen our listing for a very special music festival taking place next weekend.
PozFest takes place in the beautiful setting of The Garlic Farm from 16th-18th July as a fund raiser in memory of Paul Brewer, a family friend who died tragically in a car accident in March.
Organiser Jo Boswell and her team of volunteers have pulled together a fantastic lineup of live music, as well as DJs, who’ll be playing through the weekend.
Sunday afternoon sees a live performance by The Kooks, who’ll be jetting back from their stint at the Gurten Festival in Switzerland the day before.
If you missed their surprise gig on the Bandstand at Bestival last year, here’s another chance to see them perform live/
More, more, more
It wouldn’t be an Isle of Wight celebration without fancy dress, which takes place on Friday night in the form of anything that begins with the letter ‘P’.
Saturday night sees fancy dress of another kind, when you need to dust down your glad rags for the cocktail party.
Pop over to the PozFest website for the full skinny on what’s on offer.
Tickets for the event are just £40 (amazing bargain!) for the entire weekend and includes camping!
Looks like this is going to be a fantastic weekend and a wonderful gesture to celebrate Paul’s life.
