The Volunteer Inn is hosting a Charity Cricket match against a semi professional team from Ware this coming weekend.
The cricket match is to raise as much money as possible for The Earl Mountbatten Hospice, with both Arreton Cricket Ground and Ware Valley cricket team donating their services for free.
There is no charge for spectators to watch the match, but please make a small donation to the EMH, in the buckets provided on the day.
Appeal for raffle donations
Organisers are also holding a raffle on Saturday and appealing to any businesses/locals who could donate raffle prizes to help boost the money raised for the Hospice.

The match takes place at Arreton Cricket Ground at 2pm on Saturday 24th September.
