The Way Forward Programme, hailing from Newport, Isle of Wight, is a dedicated group that supports adults with learning disabilities.
On 6th December, The Way Forward is set to host a show at the Medina Theatre titled ‘The Journey to the Lamp’.
An inviting spectacle

With the hope of witnessing a full house, the Way Forward Islanders to not only attend, but also to promote the event within their workplaces, spreading the word amongst colleagues and anyone potentially interested in the show.
A celebration of dedication
The organisers would love for there to be a full house on the night, highlighting that a bustling audience would mean a great deal to the performers, who have diligently worked for six months to bring this spectacle to life.
The participants, dedicating half a year to craft and perfect their performances, present these shows bi-annually, evidently thriving and drawing energy from an engaged and responsive audience.
Funding future endeavours
The event is not merely a showcase of talent and dedication, but also a crucial fundraiser for the Way Forward Programme.
The funds collected from ticket sales of ‘The Journey to the Lamp’ are earmarked to finance the organisation’s next show, as well as supporting various other group activities and sessions hosted at the centre.
Amongst these are art and bowling groups, as well as exciting excursions to notable attractions like Paultons Park.
