Whilst we’re on the subject of carnivals, Ventnor’s own carnival week starts 8th August this year.
If you’ve always stood on the side lines cheering on the floats and wishing that you’d got your act together in time to be in the parade, now is the time for action.
Entry forms for the grand carnival parade on the 11th August and the illuminated parade on the 14th are now available from the
Ventnor Carnival Website.
There are around 18 carnival parades across the Island during the summer season, so if you do go to the effort of creating a float, you can also enter the others taking place.
