If you’re a Saturday night TV addict you may have come across a BBC programme called ‘Tonight’s the Night’.
It’s an hour long show hosted by John Barrowman, star of Torchwood, and the aim is to ‘make dreams come true’.
When Paul Stevens, a tutor at the IOW college, had a visit from an ‘educational inspector’, little did he realise that it was in fact Debra Stephenson who would go on to invite him onto the show to perform.
Prolific fundraiser for CRY
Many of you may already know of Paul, who has been fundraising for the charity CRY – Cardiac Risk in the Young – after sadly losing his son five years ago.
We won’t give too much away about Paul’s appearance on the show, you can watch yourself by whizzing through to about 40 minutes into the show.
Suffice it to say, that you’d be advised to have a box of tissues nearby. Paul gave an emotional and moving performance.
Thanks to VB reader and chum Lois Prior to giving us the heads-up.
The show is available to view on the BBC iPlayer until 13th August
