A flat in Ryde was raided last night resulting in the arrest of two people.
A Hampshire Constabulary spokesman said:
“We can confirm a search was conducted at an address in Nelson Street, Ryde, Isle of Wight last night (Wednesday, November 26, 2014).
“A man aged in his 50s was arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of heroin.
“A woman aged in her 20s was arrested on suspicion of possessing heroin.
“They remain in police custody for questioning.
“An investigation is ongoing.”
