Readers may remember the article we ran last month promoting Sandown’s Library Read Dating event.
The response to the event has been great, but we’ve heard that two men have had to drop out, so there are two slots for tonight.

Read Dating, noun. a method of meeting a potential romantic partner by attending an organised event in which a person meets a series of individuals and talks briefly to each of them about a favourite book.
Sandown Library is holding a Read-Dating event on Friday 15th February at 7.00pm.
It’s for anyone aged over 21 who is single, likes reading and would like to meet others interested in the same thing.
It’s a fun, casual event giving people the opportunity to meet other singles in a relaxed, friendly and safe environment.
There will be a complimentary drink on arrival, automatic entry into our amazing prize draw and a free goody bag to take home at the end of the evening!
