Police can confirm two more people were charged this week after an investigation into reports of arson and theft at a church on the Isle of Wight.
Officers were called to St Mary’s the Virgin Church in Carisbrooke near Newport at 5.30pm on Sunday, November 27, 2011.
A 28 year old man from Newport, was charged with handling stolen goods, namely a crucifix belonging to the church.
A 15-year-old boy from Newport was charged with the theft of a cross from the church.
They were both bailed to appear at the Isle of Wight Magistrates Court on January 17, 2012.
