Members of the Unite the Isle of Wight group will be taking part in a ‘Day of Action’ on the streets of Newport this Saturday.
The group will be street-campaigning in Newport to bring awareness of the group and its anti-austerity message.
They’re hoping to engage with members of the public on the importance of voting.
Fran Heath says,
“We will be handing out our leaflets and also collecting signatures for the Fight for the Wight petition, highlighting the need for more council funding for public services.”
Look out for them between 11am to 4pm in Newport.
