Valentine Messages Delivered To Pugh

Stop The Cuts Alliance members were kept very busy over the weekend.

They spent most of Saturday collecting Valentine messages for council leader David Pugh from members of the public concerned at the massive cuts to funding of public services proposed in the forthcoming budget.

The message from those who took part was clear, “we love our services, please don’t destroy them”.

Stop The Cuts Alliance chair, Tanja Rebel, posed for a picture outside County Hall holding the giant card as well as 350+ personal Valentine messages.

Although Cllr Pugh was unable to accept the cards in person, he did promise to read them all.

Are you sure Mr Pugh will be able to read the cards? I know he thinks we don’t read which is why he wants to getrid of libraries, after all can’t have the serfs with a better education than the council leader can we?

I’m sure his Personal Reading assistant will read them for him.

If you are sending one to Pugh, you must first send one to Cameron and Clegg who ordered the cuts in the first place. We all suffer and the banking industry is too big to fail or pay us back later-criminal the Government does not make them pay us back OUR money!

It’s a shame he’s not still selling them from behind the counter in his shop assistant job, or Beynon isn’t yelling at his primary class to stop passing the around to each other until playtime.

I’d bet young Dave likes valentine’s day, it’ll bring back happy memories of last year.
