Want to be involved in the single biggest public consultation survey carried out by Ventnor for Ventnor in the last five years! Well now is your chance.
Five years ago a study was carried out in Ventnor that looked at how it could develop as a town. This was linked to the Market Town Initiative Funding which Ventnor received to help develop such projects as the Children’s Centre.
It is now time to update that study and this is where the organisers of the survey need your help!
Ventnor 2007 is the public name for what’s known officially as the Ventnor Town Health Check.
The results of this public questionnaire will do two things:
Firstly, provide the basis of a few major issues that to be discussed in focus groups, and then in conjunction with the desk research being carried out, plus sample door to door interviews, provide a meaningful view from the community, in the form of a public report.
Secondly, provide the basis of reasoning and evidence for a community led five year plan for Ventnor.
The most important element of the study, which is being carried out by volunteers for the Ventnor Community Partnership, is consulting with you, the local people, regarding your views of the town.
