Local History buffs don’t forget that tonight is the AGM for the Ventnor and District History Society.
As well as all the normal business that gets discussed at the AGM, such as reports from the various individuals on the committee of what they’ve been up to over the year, what the Museum has acquired and how healthy the funds are, will be two short talks and a DVD screening.
The first talk is by Brigid Williams entitled “Rev Legh Richmond” (pictured) and the other by Mike Vokes called “I Survived”.
There will also be the first showing of the new DVD produced by the Society which goes on sale in the museum shortly.
It all tajkes place at the Masonic Hall in Grove Road, Ventnor and starts at 7.30pm. It’s always busy so recommend that you get there early to secure a seat (oh and take part in the raffle too)!
