V.Fest, Celebrate Ventnor Day, Ventnor Festival or whatever you want to call it, will be upon us in less than two weeks time. Later in the week I’ll be putting up details of the music line-up and other activities planned for the day, but in the meantime, I’ve been asked to put out a call to anyone who is able to offer help with stewarding on the day.
All that’s needed is a couple of hours of your time, and the more people who volunteer the shorter you’ll be needed for. If you are free to help out, please call Nicky on 07989 563485.
If you’re not able to help out on the day but want to be involved, how about joining the Seafront Decorations Workshop which takes place next Saturday (15th July) at the Youth Centre, Victoria Street.
Willow and tissue flowers, stars, fish (like the beautiful one in the picture) are being made to decorate the cascade on Festival day.
It’s from 11am – 4pm, but you can just come for part of the session. All adults and families welcome, but no unaccompanied children. There’s no charge. Contact Alison on 07976 009414 if you want to be involved.
