The Ventnor Diabetes support group, organized by diabetic volunteers from Ventnor and surrounding towns and villages, will meet at the Ventnor Baptist Church, Wednesday 9th May at 7pm.
Mr Rob Gilkes, Senior Territory Manager for Bayer Diabetes Care (UK) will speak on “Monitor your blood Sugar”. (The importance of accurate Blood Glucose monitoring, new developments in monitoring and how to correctly use your Blood Glucose meter).
Information for a free blood glucose meter will be supplied to registered diabetic group members who need one.
Refreshments are offered, providing the opportunity for questions to the speaker and a general and helpful social exchange between the attendees.
Meetings are free, no membership dues.
