Thanks to Helen for sharing details of this forthcoming event. In her own words. Ed
The Ventnor Music For Fun Festival is almost upon us and there are still a few days left to enter if you want to take part (sign up here).
Al always, it’s helpful for performers to play to an audience, so everyone is welcome to drop in for free to listen to the music-making at St. Catherine’s Church, Ventnor, during Thursday and Friday, 1st and 2nd March, when the Music for Fun Festival is taking place.
Wide variety of music
There will be a wide variety of music on offer, from fine young guitarists and school music groups to well loved Island choirs and ensembles, and the adjudications from the inspiring Jo McNally (pictured), who is coming to Ventnor to share her encouragement and wealth of expertise, will be fascinating to hear.
On Thursday 1st March at 8pm, don’t miss the opportunity to sing in a workshop (£2 adults, children free) run by the inimitable Jo McNally, well-known for her enthusiasm and talent for getting the best out of people.
To conclude the Ventnor Music for Fun Festival, there will be a Gala Concert on Friday 2nd March at 6.30pm, to which all are invited (£3 adults, children free).
