Ventnor Timebank will be holding a social on Saturday 2nd August 2014 at Ventnor Baptist Church from 12pm to 3pm.
As well as meeting each other Timebank members will:
- bring hobbies to demonstrate and teach others – anything from bike puncture repair to cooperative loom band designs
- contribute to a pot luck picnic, where people bring a dish to share with other people.
- This will also be a chance to use the cooking and nutrition training in which many Timebank members have gained qualifications this year
- make offers and requests for Timebank transactions on a ‘life line’. Timebank socials always lead to more transactions taking place through the contact and creativity they spark off
The event is aimed at Timebank members but is open to the public. Anyone wishing to attend can simply turn up, and will have the opportunity to join the Timebank. Or they can contact us in advance to ask for more information and to say they are coming.
