News reaches us that the recent vacancy for a town councillor in Lowetherville has been filled uncontested.
Jason Mack, who previously stood for the Ventnor East vacancy back in June will take up the position as Lowtherville Town councillor upon his return from holiday.
Three vacancies to fill
In the meantime, there are still two vacancies for Ventnor West and one for St Lawrence.
If you would like to help shape the future of the town, you will need to send you nomination form to County Hall no later than noon on 17th September.

Should sufficient nominations be received an election will take place on 14th October 2010.
