Bathed in moonlight Ventnor U15 colts celebrate the end of their season with a 93 run win over Ryde Cavaliers on the 19th August, making them unbeaten IOW U15 league champions for 2013.
Boys missing from the picture who played pivotal and important roles for this season, Ben Herridge, D. Cox, B. Attrill, E. Guy, P. Herman, R. Whyte.
U15 County Cup Final
Their successful season was complimented with an Isle of Wight U15 County Cup Final six wicket win against Ryde on 4th July, which then found them playing Sussex Champions, Chippingdale CC at Worthing on the 12th July, who they beat with another six wicket win in the mainland round of the ECB U15 National Club Championship.
The win took them through to the last 32 teams representing their counties out of the many national clubs who started in the original competition; but fell against a strong Knebworth CC team in the next round.
