Last week we featured the range of activities being offered by Ventnor Holiday Club for 5-12 year olds during the summer holidays
Well, we also hear that Ventnor Youth Centre will be offering a range of activities for part of the summer holidays.
Who’s it for?
Anyone leaving year 7 this summer and older are welcome to take part.
Those who already use the youth centre will know that their work focuses on teenagers in the main, but they tell us that they’re happy to welcome and care for people at the younger end of that range during the holidays.
What’s on offer?
Activities include DJ workshops, circus skills, trampolining, street dance, football, archery, creating artistic items for carnival and more.
Most activities will last between one to two hours and cost £1
Archery is being offered by East Dene (Bonchurch) at a cost of £5 for 90 minutes, but you’ll need to book this asap if you want to take part.
Bits and bobs
Food is not provided at the sessions but young people can bring food and drink (not fizzy) with them to eat on site.
All staff and volunteers are CRB checked and all activities risk assessed.
