It’s been a while since the last part of our series of VentnorBlog Journey pieces.
Apologies for the gap, we’ve been beavering away behind the scenes, whilst trying to keep up our usual output on VB.
Part of the delay in launching the new site has been down to the fact that we had a European company approach us with an interesting offer that we needed to consider carefully.
The company has created a content management system (that’s the software for adding articles to the site) that is used by major newspapers around the world.
We’re told that VentnorBlog‘s name came up in a presentation at a conference in Prague recently and the company thought that we’d be a great publication to break into the UK market with.
Weighing up the options
It’s been time consuming researching into the product and the company, weighing up the pros and cons of going with a bespoke system over the product that we currently use to deliver VB to you.
We haven’t come to a final decision yet, but it has meant a delay in launching On The Wight.
Rest assured there’s still lots going on behind the scenes ensuring that when we launch, the offering you currently get with VB will be bigger and better!
