Ventnor’s second team and Shanklin and Godshill’s first eleven face each other at Steephill on Saturday (31st August 2024) in the final match of the Hampshire League Division 3 season.
Top of the table Ventnor need nine points from the game to clinch the title.
With only one team promoted ahead of a new league structure in 2025, Ben Davies’s side will want to defeat their old rivals to ensure they stay ahead of second placed Old Tauntonians and Romsey II who travel to Bedhampton.

The match takes place at Ventnor Cricket Club, Steephill Rd, Ventnor PO38 1UF.
The match begins at 1pm. The clubhouse will be open for refreshments.
Ventnor’s first team
Ventnor’s first team complete their Southern Premier League Division 1 campaign with an away fixture at Totton and Eling on Saturday. Ben Woodhouse’s side will be hoping a win will give them a sixth placed finish.
All Southern Premier and Hampshire League fixtures last weekend were cancelled due to the wet weather.
