Yarmouth residents will be keeping their fingers crossed on 20th January as the Isle of Wight council’s Appeals Sub Committee meet to determine whether part of the Yarmouth Rec should be designated as a Village Green.
Readers might remember the case was due to be heard back in September 2013, but was postponed at the last minute after it was announced that the Isle of Wight council had not given the Yarmouth Town Trust enough time to prepare for the meeting.
Members of the Appeals Sub Committee will meet at 10am on 20th January to make their decision.
