I am the Vice Chairman for the Newport Group of ‘The Isle of Wight Physically Disabled Club’ which is run by all voluntary people.
We are in desperate need of voluntary drivers to assist with our Newport club in picking up members from their homes and to return them when the club finishes.
Fortnightly on Saturdays
Our club runs on Saturdays in Newport every two weeks starting February 6th through to mid May each year. Meeting time is approx. 2pm ending at 4pm.
It is for physically disabled people, mostly elderly, to give them a “break” and to give them a chance to get out and meet others.
