We love it when people get engaged with their community and muck in to help out when needed.
So praise goes to locals Ann and Paul Hutchins who have (with the direction of Simon Wheeler, the new Entertainments Manager) organised a project to brighten up the exterior of the Winter Gardens.
They’ve already gathered a small band of volunteers who have agreed to help paint the exterior of he building, but the more the merrier and so are appealing to any other Islanders who wants to help out to get in touch.
They also need paint, of the Magnolia persuasion, so if you can help with the too more the better.
The planned date for the paint party is Monday and Tuesday, 12th & 13th July.

We’ve also heard that Simon Wheeler will be giving away tickets to events at the Winter Gardens for those who help out.
