The Environment Agency has issued a Flood Alert for the Isle of Wight coast.
They warn that flooding is possible for the coast in Cowes today (Thursday).
Low lying coastal land and roads will be affected first, so be prepared is the advice.

Forecast wind strength – Force 5The forecast tide is a reasonably high spring tide. Water levels will be high around Cowes and minor spray overtopping of the sea defences will occur in low lying locations. No impacts are expected at Yarmouth.
