Thanks to Luisa for sharing details of this funding raising event taking place this Friday. Ed
The ‘East Cowes Con A’ snooker team is one of the most successful on the Island and likely to win the Vecta League this year, playing many home games in the Con Club on Clarence Road.
Richard Green of Adelaide Grove, East Cowes has taken it upon himself to organise the event and will be supported by many other snooker players from East Cowes and across the Island.
Richard says,
“The evening will have a ‘Big Break’ style quiz show theme with four fun games. The event is open to everyone, not just members of a Conservative club.”
There is no entry fee to take part in the event, but players are asked to donate a prize for the raffle.
Wightlink Ferries are sponsoring the event by donating two day return tickets (for car and upto seven passengers) as the star raffle prizes.
