Sunday 21st September is UN International Day of Peace – a global event which promotes peace and invites combatants to lay down their arms and enjoy a day of truce.
On the Isle of Wight we are supporting Global Peace March, a grassroots organisation which invites people to march for peace and unity on the day.
Join us at the swimming pool by the canoe lake at Ryde Esplanade and walk with us to Appley beach, from 2pm.
Entertainments afterwards include music, poetry and rainbow rotary drier art exhibit.
