Officers from the Isle of Wight want to trace a driver in order to speak to her following a collision on Chatfield Road, Whitwell at around 12:45pm on Tuesday, December 29, 2015.
A 59 year-old woman who was walking on the side of the road as there was not a pavement, was involved in a collision with a silver hatchback car, possibly a VW Polo, which was travelling in the same direction.
The driver of the car, who is described as a small woman who was aged in her sixties and who had short grey hair, stopped and helped the injured pedestrian. However the driver did not give the 59 year-old woman, who was later found to have a fractured arm, her details.
