Wet Leg in the studio

Wet Leg leave their chaise longue to play live on the Isle of Wight this week

One of our favourite bands at the moment, Wet Leg, are playing a gig on the Isle of Wight this week.

Since launching their debut single Chaise Longue on Domino Records last month, Wet Leg have been one of the most talked about bands in the UK music industry.

The band will be playing at Strings Bar and Venue on Thursday evening, with support from Preost (aka David MacGregor of Rocket Fuel fame).

Tickets are £7.70 each (including booking fee) and can be purchased from See Tickets.

Incredible response
The music video for Chaise Longue has been viewed over a quarter of a million times and the female duo from the Isle of Wight have been storming up the various streaming charts: Hitting the top of the Spotify Viral 50 chart last week, as well as being featured in Hot New Bands.

They’ve had high praise from the likes of Steve Lemacq, Matt Wilkinson, Wolf Alice, and have made the core playing list on many radio stations.
