If you’re into angling, you might be interested in the results from this weekend’s WightFishing competition.
On Saturday night/ Sunday morning anglers from around the Island gathered in Seagrove Bay for second competition of the year.
Mike Hopwood tells us that fish can be hard to find at this time of year, but luckily most entrants caught something over the course of the competition.
Rich Monk (pictured) took first place with his 1lb Flounder.
Rockling bags gave Mike Hopwood 2nd place and Dan Murray took 3rd.
Congratulations to all who took part.
More details from the night and future competitions can be found on the Wight Fishing Website.
