No we haven’t booked in Sir Cliff Richard O.B.E. to provide interval entertainment for our fans at our next meeting this coming Tuesday at Smallbrook, but we have signed 21 years old Tom Young to replace injured South African Byron Bekker.
The formalities surrounding the signing of the Welsh racer, who rode for Scunthorpe last year, were completed late yesterday afternoon and he makes his début at Stoke tonight in the second leg of the Wightlink Shield.
So, a very warm welcome to the Wightlink Islanders latest signing – the “Young One!”
