Liss Ten Mile Time Trial
On Saturday 25th April, Wightlink-LCM Systems team riders Martin Sanders and Simon Ambrosini (pictured) travelled over to Liss to compete in the Hampshire RC Open ten mile time trial.
There were over 120 starters, which made for a long day. An already damp evening took a turn for the worse when the wind got up and rain welcomed the riders into the final mile of the course.
Ambrosini posted an impressive time of 20:50 and Sanders bagged a distance PB with 22:35.
This is over a minute and a half off of Sanders’ previous best time, and points to the hard work he has been putting in ahead of the Island Games in June.
