As Halloween fast approaches, the invites to celebrations continue to pour in.
But there is one that really caught our eye yesterday, probably because it looks completely bonkers – and we like that kind of thing!
Apparently at around 9pm on Saturday 27th October, if you happen to be in Ryde Town Square you might just find yourself surrounded by zombies.
It appears that some of those crazy zombies have arranged a little get together for something called A Zombie March (also known as a zombie mob, zombie walk or zombie lurch).
According to the website, a zombie march is a gathering of two or more people who dress up in zombie costumes. Usually taking place in a town centre, the participants make their way around the town and through in a somewhat orderly fashion and often limping their way towards their final destination.
So how can I join in, you ask? Assemble at Ryde Town Square for the 9pm start and here’s the route:
Zombie Route
Starting at Ryde Town Square (between Somerfield and WhSmith) at 21.00pm on the 27th October 2007. Then limping towards along High Street. Feasting on the living mortals on the way. It’s thirsty work so popping into the popular drinking establishments looking for refreshments.
It’s a busy time of the year so this route has been adapted to meet all of your needs.
Zombie route 1 – The Dan Damage Halloween Ball – The Venue – Ryde Town Hall
Starting from Ryde Town Square 21.00pm Then limping towards: – The crown – The wight rock bar – Ryde Town Hall
Zombie route 2 – Feasting in the popular drinking establishments of Ryde Town
Starting from Ryde Town Square 21.00pm Then limping towards: – The crown – The wight rock bar – The public houses of union street – Ending up in the Kas Bar
Zombie route 3 – Heaven & Hell III – Balcony – The Pavilion – Esplanade. Starting from Ryde Town Square 21.00pm Then limping towards: – The Crown – The Wight Rock Bar – The public houses of union street – Ending up in the Balcony
