The tickets have been donated to Independent Arts by the IW Festival organisers as part of their charity initiative, which has seen them donate tickets to several local charities to aid fundraising.
The Isle of Wight Festival takes place from 11-14 June 2015 at Seaclose Park Newport, featuring headline acts Fleetwood Mac, Blur, The Black Keys and the Prodigy. Weekend camping tickets are currently selling online at over £200 each.
Fantastic support for charity
Kate Ball, Chief Executive at Independent Arts is delighted with the support the charity has received from the IW Festival organisers,
“We are absolutely thrilled to have been donated a pair of tickets for the IW Festival which will allow us to fundraise widely for the next couple of weeks. The creative activities Independent Arts delivers across the Isle of Wight are vital to the health and wellbeing of many residents, and it is fantastic that local initiatives can see the value in the work we do and support us in this way.”
Independent Arts is a small, unique registered charity, established in 1987. We provide a range of therapeutic creative arts activities and projects for disadvantaged people living on the Isle of Wight – particularly those with learning difficulties, disabilities, and the elderly.
