Island-based charity Independent Arts is holding a grand prize draw on 13th December, with a pair of tickets to Bestival 2013 as the top prize.
The charity has been actively fundraising throughout 2012 in celebration of its 25th anniversary celebrations, and the grand prize draw is the last activity planned this year.
Lots of other prizes
As well as the Bestival tickets, there is a range of fantastic prizes available which have mainly been donated by Island-based organisations. Tickets to local attractions such as Calbourne Mill, Seaview Wildlife Encounter, Isle of Wight Steam Railway, Blackgang Chine and Dinosaur Isle are all on offer, along with vouchers for The Garlic Farm and Chessell Pottery Café.
Other prizes include a coffee maker, a picnic basket, as well as tickets to Cineworld, Ryde Superbowl, Planet Ice and West Wight Leisure Centre.
Independent Arts activities are vital to wellbeing of many residents
Kate Ball, Chief Executive at Independent Arts is delighted with the support the charity has received from Island businesses.
“We are absolutely thrilled with the response to our requests for prizes, and we have felt really supported in our endeavours to raise much-needed funds. The creative activities Independent Arts delivers across the Isle of Wight are vital to the health and wellbeing of many residents, and it is fantastic that local businesses can see the value in the work we do and support us in this way.”
Independent Arts
Independent Arts is a small, unique registered charity, established in 1987. We provide a range of therapeutic creative arts activities and projects for disadvantaged people living on the Isle of Wight – particularly those with learning difficulties, disabilities, and the elderly.
The Independent Arts Grand Prize Draw tickets cost £1 each and are available from the Independent Arts office. All proceeds go directly to the charity to deliver more creative activities in the future. See full list of prizes
