VB reader, Angela Gower-Johnson, has seven wolfdog puppies for sale.
We popped round to see Angela last week, just two days after the puppies had been born and can vouch for their astonishing cuteness.
If you’re thinking it might be a bit scary having a wolfdog as a pet, Angela explained that wolves are submissive and highly intelligent animals.
Loyal and non-confrontational
They are extremely loyal, eager to please but do require more effort and attention than normal dogs. Structure is very important, as well as needing to have a master, before having a family. They are timid, not at all confrontational.
As we said above, the puppies are incredibly cute, lovable and cuddly, but they will still have a degree of wildness in them. They will need much more time, energy, patience and discipline than a normal dog.
Both the Mum and Dad are family pets, BVA hip scored and eye tested.
More about the father
The puppies’ father is a Sarloos and Czech Wolfdog cross. He was specifically breed to bring out the best wolf qualities and characteristics of both breeds. He is still a bit ‘wild’ and the puppies will therefore have a level of wildness, with the tameness of their mother.
Wolves and these puppies are also stronger and more intelligent than normal dogs. Saying that, all the effort will definitely pay off and you will have the most loyal, eager to please animal.
If you’re interested in viewing the puppies which will be ready to leave their Mother on 24 March and priced at £940 each, give Angela a call on 01983 551298.
