Tickets are still on sale for this year’s Wolverton Folk & Blues Fair which takes place this coming Saturday 12th May.
Despite the recent bad weather, we’re told by organisers that the Folks and Blues Fair will still take place in the grounds of Wolverton Manor, Shorwell.
This year’s event, which was a sell out last year, features music from top Island bands Beachcomber, Lucid, Whisky River Band, Scarecrow, MoonShiners, The DollyMopps (pictured), All Washed Up and The Herd.
Lots more than just music
With an IW real ale beer tent, BBQ, Tea tent, plus children’s activities including circus skills and even a Zumba workshop, Wolverton Folk & Blues Fair looks set to be a celebration of all that’s good about our Island’s local food & music talent.
Tickets for this family friendly event in aid of Leukaemia Research and Brighstone School, are priced at £5 and are available from Waterstone’s bookshop, Newport, The Village Shop, Brighstone, Shorwell Shop and Briddlesford Farm Shop.
