The emphasis is on the visiting nurseries alongside the wonderful Island nurseries with all the associated activities of a genuine Fair with every sort of entertainment for every sort of person!
There as always a strong Tudor tradition of music, dancing and lifestyle provided by the re-enactment players which gives a wonderful backdrop to a perfect location.
All this is in aid of the local charity AGE UK dedicated to supporting the older members of the community and supported by volunteers who give their time and effort without limit.
The gates open at 10.00 and close at 17.00 with entrance £6.00 for adults and children under 12 are free.
