The first formal meeting of the TOGETHER Team was held this week and apart from one, all positions are now in place.
The team line up looks like this:
Nicky Hargreaves (Chair)
Amy Morris (Deputy Chair)
Paul Magee (Deputy Treasurer)
Mark Compton-Hall (Secretary)
Fred Cooper (Deputy Secretary)
They are keen to find a balance of adult to youth and so are looking for someone to volunteer as Adult Treasurer. We’ve been assured that this is not an onerous position as the job will be very simple. If you’re not sure what TOGETHER is all about, I’ve stuck up a page with edited highlights of PC Pete’s talk from a couple of weeks ago at the Winter Gardens.
After the talk, 27 people from the audience registered their interest to be involved and more have come forward since, as well as many cash and cheque donations.
The first formal meeting not only confirmed who would be doing what, but produced some great ideas on fund raising and promotion.
