Ever had the feeling that you’ve got a book inside you, but you don’t know where to start in trying to put it down on paper?
Or perhaps you’re already a writer, but struggling to pull everything together?
A three day writing course, being led by Barbara Jane Mackie, kicks off at the end of this week (13th-15th April), the first in a series of writing workshops being held at The Blacksheep in Ryde.
Barbara tells us there are just a few places left for the workshop which promises to be fun, lively and inspiring.
The Write Stuff
A Lecturer in screenwriting at Portsmouth and Southampton Solent Universities, Barbara has extensive experience of teaching and leading dynamic writing workshops and has recently received her Masters degree in Creative Writing.
Writing exercises and literary techniques will be taught in a warm and supportive atmosphere.
Barbara explains, “There is a lot of fear around writing, even with writers who are itching to write and clearly talented. I found that myself, when starting my novel, so I want to share with other writers the steps I took.”
The cost of the three day workshop is £130 – a fantastic prices considering it also includes lunches, teas and coffees.
