Young people on the Isle of Wight are being encouraged to have their say on issues affecting the local biosphere.
The UNESCO Isle of Wight Biosphere Reserve is seeking input on how to better engage with young people, particularly around climate, nature and culture.
A chance to shape the future
Lauren Rawcliffe, Youth MAB Representative for the Biosphere Reserve, says young voices are essential in shaping how the Biosphere connects with and supports the Island’s younger generations. She adds,
“We are interested in hearing your thoughts about youth engagement on the Isle of Wight, particularly with activities relating to the climate, nature, and culture.
“Your voice is vital in helping us understand how the Biosphere can connect with and support young people on the Island.”
Short and anonymous survey
The survey is designed to be quick to complete, ensuring it does not take up too much time.
All responses will remain anonymous.
The organisers are particularly keen to hear from people aged 13 to 35, but anyone is welcome to share their views.
This initiative offers a chance for young people to influence how the Biosphere operates and ensure their concerns and interests are represented.
