IW NHS announce details of their 5,000th Member. Ed
Congratulations to Zippy Davies, an Entertainment Manager from St Helen’s, who was recruited at the recent Isle of Wight Music Festival to become the 5,000th new member of the Isle of Wight NHS Trust!
Zippy was presented with a hand blown silver-inlaid vase donated by Alum Bay Glass and a beautiful bouquet of flowers donated by the Flower Garden of Newport, to mark the occasion.
Zippy commented,
“I am delighted to be the 5,000th member and joined Isle of Wight NHS Trust as it enables members of our local community to have their say on the health service here of the island. It also strengthens our chances of keeping our services local.”

Isle of Wight NHS Trust is recruiting members to provide feedback and improve participation in healthcare on the Island.
The Membership programme is part of the Trust’s drive to improve the quality of services and become an NHS Foundation Trust bringing important benefits to the Island and its patients.
Need another 1,500 members
Mark Price, Foundation Trust Programme Director and Company Secretary remarked:
“We are delighted to have reached this milestone. We are overwhelmed by the response and support we have received so far but want to encourage even more Islanders to become Members as we want to recruit another 1,500 members by April 2017 so that we comfortably exceed our target.”

The Trust’s membership target for April 2017 is 6,200 Members. By becoming a member you can your say in what we do and it is up to you how much or how little you are involved.
It is anticipated governor elections will take place in the autumn and any member aged 18 years or over is entitled to stand or vote, membership is free to join and anybody is eligible from 11 years of age. Please don’t delay, join today:
