New Wightlink Yarmouth - Lymington ferry timetable: Fewer sailings

Wightlink have just released their Lymington – Yarmouth car ferry timetable that will run 16 September – 22 December 2013.

It’s much simplified, changing from separate times for Monday, Tuesday-Thursday, Friday – Saturday & Sunday to a more logical Monday – Friday, Saturday & Sunday.

Fewer sailings
During the week there will be four to six fewer sailings compared with the current Summer timetable (24 May – 15 September 2013), depending on which day you’re travelling.

Saturday will have eight fewer sailings and Sunday, seven.

The last Lymington to Yarmouth sailing on Sundays will come forward 20 minutes with it now leaving at 20:45.

Those leaving the Island on that day will have to be on the 9:30pm sailing, half an hour earlier than the current 10pm.

We’ve tried to find a way to compare the two timetables (current and Sept to Dec 2013), which has proved a challenge. (If you can come up with a better way, please get in touch, we’d love to hear it.)
