Thirty years ago, Rebecca came to the Isle of Wight with her best friend and her family. Whilst here, the photo above was taken of Rebecca (in the white vest), her best friend and her cousins.
Here’s where the story starts to get really special.
Chance meeting 16 years later
Rebecca tells us that 16 years after the photo was taken she met a man in a wine bar, they hit it off and started dating.
Two weeks into the relationship they were more than a little surprised to discovered that he was her best friend’s cousin.
The cousin who is also in the photo, sitting next to Rebecca on the wall.
What are the chances?
Married with three kids
The relationship blossomed and the couple married. Now 14 years on they’re returning to the Isle of Wight with their three, very excited, children.
They’d love to have a picture of them all sitting on the same wall in the photo taken 30 years ago.
Isn’t that special!
