Congratulations to all the team behind the Ventnor Fringe Festival for a fantastic first three days of this annual arts event which takes place in Ventnor on the south coast of the Isle of Wight.
Monday sees a break from ticketed events at the Fringe, bringing with it a chance for the Festival team, production crews and many of the 80+ volunteers to take a breather.
What’s on today
However, it’s still all go for Free Fringe events, with a healthy choice of things to see and do today.
- Independent Arts will be in the Park with their Big Draw activities
- art_house_life @ 35 Madeira Road are welcoming the public to their CURIOS contemporary art show
- You can see work by the Church Street artists at Ku
- See work by Artists Annik Cullinane and Teresa Grimaldi at Workshop 97
- Cara Goodrem will be performing vocals and a guitar for an intimate performance at the Better Days Cafe
- Pop/Rock harmony band WatEVvA will be playing popular covers at the British Legion
- Head to Ventnor Library for Bibliomancy: The Random Research Game by Fools Harvest (also being performed on the Book Bus later in the week if you miss one)
- Slow Cats will be performing at the British Legion
- There are a variety of VENT poetry events taking place at the Green Room in Salisbury Gardens
- And finally there’ll be music all afternoon at the Bandstand in Ventnor Park.
